Who do you create websites for?
I create websites for a wide range of artists from actors, directors and comedians to visual artists, photographers and musicians to acting schools, theatres and production companies to models, talent agencies, writers and so on in Canada and around the world.
Why do I need a website?
Having a website has proven to be the best way to share your work with others. A professional website is a powerful marketing tool that gives you worldwide exposure, 24/7 it also assists you in marketing yourself to employers, industry professionals or to anyone else who might be interested in paying for your talents or purchasing your work.
What is a domain name?
Your domain name is your unique address on the Internet. Most domain names end with .com, but other extensions such as .ca or .net are also available. Domains are also used with your email account, allowing you to send and receive email using an address such as you@yourname.com
Can you register a domain name for me?
Unfortunately at this time I do not provide this service. I will gladly recommend a company that does sell domains and will help you through the process.
What is a web hosting?
A web host provides the place on the Internet where your website files are stored. The web host uses powerful computers called servers with specialized software and extremely fast connections to the Internet. Servers are powerful computers that have extremely large hard drives, or an array of hard drives. Space is then rented to those who want a "website presence" on the Internet. When someone visits your site, they use your URL (for example http://www.yourname.com) to contact that server, which presents the website requested.
Do you provide web hosting?
Unfortunately at this time I do not provide this service. I will gladly recommend a company that does sell hosting and will help you through the process.
What if I already have web hosting?
No problem. I can upload your site to your current host once you provide your FTP information.
Do you create custom website designs?
Yes. I offer cutting-edge fully functional custom websites starting at $1500.
What is the difference between templates and custom websites?
Templates are pre-designed websites which are populated using your images, text and choice of colours. Custom Websites are created from scratch based on your needs and ideas.
What's included in your website packages?

I like one of your templates but I would like different colors, is that possible?
Yes. Colours and fonts can be changed.
Will there be a contract to sign?
Once the package and price have been determined for your project, a contract will be created and sent to you via email. Print, date and sign the contract and either email, mail or fax it back to me. I must receive a signed contract before work can begin.
How do I get started?
Choose a Package and choose a Template. Contact me to discuss the details of your site. You will be sent a contract and a 50% deposit is required before start of project.
What's the payment schedule?
A deposit of 50% is required before starting work on your project; the remaining balance is due upon completion.
How long will it take to create my website?
Once all materials and deposit have been received, I take no longer than 30 days to complete your site. Custom websites may take longer, depending upon their complexity.
How do I send you my materials?
All materials can be sent via email. Text documents must be either word or PDF files. Images can be GIF, JPEG or PSD files. If materials cannot be sent via email, you can place all materials on a CD/DVD and courier them to my mailing address.
Can I add more pages & features to my website in the future?

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept payment by cheque, cash and email transfers, preferred payment is through PayPal. Please do not send cash through the mail.
Can I add audio and video to my site?
Yes. Multimedia can be added to your site. Please take a look at Packages for pricing options.
I already have a website. Can you redesign it, update it, fix it, host it?
Yes. Please contact me for more information.
How can I make changes to my site?
I offer two options to make updates to your site. I can update your site for you; I offer 1 year free maintenance (1 update a month). The other option is to setup your site so that you may make updates to your site at any time; no programming skills are needed for this.
Will my site work on different browsers?
Before your site is actually launched, I test it to be sure it works under the major browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari. It will also be tested on a Mac as well as a PC.
Can I cancel the project once it's started?
Yes. However, in the event of cancellation by the client, the client shall pay all expenses incurred, as well as fees based on the degree of completion of the project.
How do I promote my website?
> Announce your new website to all industry contacts via phone, email, postcard, letter and social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace etc.
> Include your website address in all correspondence: emails, letters, postcards, resume, business cards, demo reels, etc.
> Tell everyone you know about your new site.
How will people find my website?
Tell people to visit www.yourname.com. Once your website has been live for about 4-6 weeks, it will show up in search engines like Google or Yahoo.
